Dark electro retro pop has a notable newcomer in the buzzworthy work of interstate duo Rude Pets.   Kerry Trusewicz is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, music producer and multimedia artist living in Detroit, Michigan. Kevin Jones is a singer, songwriter and music producer from New Jersey. The collaboration is yielding remarkable results. Their new single Trying to Lie is an intriguing blend that evokes nostalgic memories of NIN with added retro pop reverence. 

There’s a catchy nature to their work that gives it real radio potential while retaining underground mystique.  It’s a testament to the attitude and angst.  The duo leans deeper into their industrial influence on the single Really Here.  Just two layers of this onion, it’s an exciting setup for new music due out later this year.
